Our facilities

Printing

Black and white and colour printing is available for a small fee. Print in A4 or A3 from our computers or your own laptop.

Room hire

At Spalding Library we have meeting room for hire for both personal and professional use.

Study space

Whether you're studying or working, find desks, quiet areas and dedicated study spaces at Spalding Library. 

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the library. You can log in on your phone, tablet or laptop. 

Parking

Spalding Library is adjacent to the Victoria Road public car park.

Quiet area

In our quiet areas, please switch off your mobile or turn it to silent and speak quietly, being mindful of other visitors

Library Shop

Our library shop stocks a lovely range of gifts, toys, jewellery, bags and cards, so have a browse and find that perfect something for yourself or someone just as special.

Local Studies

We have a small collection of local studies resources for reference use covering the history of Spalding and the surrounding area. Our collection includes:
  • Books: A small collection of publications covering the history of Spalding and South Holland. Notable titles include A History of Spalding by E H Gooch and the Aspects of Spalding series by Michael J Elsden. 
  • Directories: Titles such as Kellys and Whites covering a variety of years between 1872 and 1937. 
  • Newspapers on Microfilm: The Lincolnshire Free Press 1849 to present (incomplete) and The Spalding Guardian from 1881 to present (incomplete). A Microfilm Reader Printer is available to use. To book the Reader or check whether the year you want is available, please contact the team direct 

Workspaces at Spalding Library

Whether you need a desk or a whole meeting room, we have plenty of workspaces at Spalding Library. 

We have desks and quiet study spaces that are free for everyone to use. They're available on a first come, first served basis.

If you need more room, we also have a meeting room for hire for up to 10 people.
