We have a range of local studies resources for reference use covering the history of Skegness and the surrounding area. Our collection includes:
Books: A selection of books relating to the history of Skegness and the surrounding area including Skegness in the Fifties and Skegness at War.
Directories: A selection of Kellys and Whites directories dating from 1856-1937.
Newspapers on Microfilm: Skegness Herald 1882-1916, Skegness Extra 1987-1990, Skegness Standard July 1922-December 2019, Skegness News 1909-1964, Lincolnshire Standard Horncastle, Alford and Spilsby Edition 1912-1915.
