Joining a new gym can be challenging. To make this easier for you, here at Hillingdon Sports & Leisure Complex we offer a wide range of gym inductions suitable for all levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced user, our fitness team will ensure you have all the basic knowledge to make the most of your workout, safely. If you have more specific workout goals, we also offer a bespoke gym programme that is included as part of your membership.
Total Induction
A 60-minute induction aimed at those who are new to using a gym, or who want a specific exercise programme to help them achieve their goals. During this induction, the Fitness Instructor will demonstrate how to use your selected gym equipment and talk you through the relevant exercises. You will also receive a personalised training programme, to help you stay motivated.
Basic Induction
This 30-minute induction is aimed at more experienced gym users. The instructor will familiarise you with our range of equipment and answer any health and fitness-related questions for your workout. If you feel confident, you can always opt-out and get straight to it.
Refocus Sessions
To help you stay motivated and achieve your goals we offer a refocus session that can be booked every six weeks. During this 30 minutes session, the fitness instructor will review your progress and update your programme to keep you challenged and motivated.
Give It A Go Programme
'Give It A Go' is a specialised programme specifically tailored for those who want to become more physically active and need a little extra help to take their first steps in the gym. This programme starts with a 60-minute induction, where our fitness expert will discuss your goals and provide a 6-weeks tailored training plan to help you achieve them. At the end of the programme, you will be able to book the Give It a Go Final Assessment, where the instructor will discuss your progress and adjust your plan to continue your fitness journey.
