A Pay as you Go membership allows you to try out the local facilities before committing to monthly payments. It’s a great way to enjoy your favourite sport and activities for less throughout the summer.

With a Pay as you Go membership (formerly known as Pay and Play memberships), adults and juniors can enjoy discounted access to Better gyms, swimming pools or fitness classes with a small one-off annual membership fee. Not only can you make savings of up to 30% on non-member prices, but you can also enjoy a range of courses and other activities at your chosen Better leisure centre.*

*Pay as you Go memberships are available at most Better leisure centres. Discounts may not be available for all activities at every centre.

Unlike our monthly memberships, Pay as you Go is just one annual payment. You can enjoy up to 30% off the gym, pool and fitness classes at your local Better centre*. Pay as you Go Options

Adult (16+)
Enjoy the best of Better’s facilities with a Pay as you Go membership. Whether you’re looking for a flexible option or want to make the most of your local facilities without a monthly fee, our Adult Pay as you Go lets you keep fit for less.

Junior (11-17)
Help your child stay active with a Junior Pay as you Go membership. This annual membership is ideal for those 11-17 and gives them discounted pay as you go access to swimming pools, gyms, fitness classes* and more.

*Juniors must be 11-17 years old to use gym facilities and take part in fitness classes.

FAQs

What’s the difference between Pay as you Go and Day Passes?

At Better, alongside our Pay as you Go membership, we also offer the option to buy Day Passes for our facilities.

When you use our Day Passes, you’ll pay the full amount for the activity or course, whereas with a Pay as you Go gym, swim and fitness membership you’ll get a 30% discount off your bookings.

You’ll also enjoy benefits such as early booking, which is not included with our Day Passes.

How many classes do I have access to?

Our Pay as you Go membership gives you access to our full range of fitness classes. You can secure a spot in one of our classes by visiting your local centre, booking online or via the Better UK app.

How do I join?

To sign up for our Pay as you Go membership, you can either visit your local centre or join online. All you’ll need are your contact details and payment information.

Once on the join site, find your preferred location, select membership type as 'Pay As You Go' and payment type as 'single payment' to find available memberships.
