Healthwise provides a wide range of exercise classes and activities suitable for individuals of all skill levels. A qualified GP Referral Instructor is on hand to assist members in selecting classes that best suit their individual medical conditions and needs. The program may include various options such as:
Our Physical Activity Referral Scheme is a 12-week tailored programme which includes exercise prescription, accountability calls and face to face appointments which are designed to support those living with health conditions to break down barriers to participation and to create opportunities for long- lasting change which will have positive implications for their health and well-being.
Within the 12 weeks there will an option to touch base with your health referral instructor and to attend a range of Healthwise specific physical activity sessions.
The cost of using our service is £25* per month for up to 2 years and this gives you access to swimming, fitness classes and the gym as well as Healthwise specific sessions at three of our leisure centres or is £5 per activity on a pay as you go basis.
