NEW SEND PUTTIFY SESSIONS ADDED TO CENTRE PROGRAMME
A new SEND session has been added to out Puttify programme. The session will run on Tuesdays from 4:30-7:00pm and a carer can play for free when coming with a paying child. The Centre also has adjustable clubs that can be used to make playing more accessible.
Puttify, Europe’s first futuristic mini-golf course, opened at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre on Friday 20 December at 10am.
Operating under the Better brand, GLL is the first leisure provider in the UK to open a Puttify Golf course.
“We chose Puttify because it combines cutting edge technology with a course suitable for all ages and abilities,” said Barnaby Rich, GLL’s Partnership Manager for Bath and North East Somerset.
“Puttify eliminates the most frustrating aspects of crazy golf and, judging by the fun people have had testing out the course, is certain to provide lots of good memories.
“It also fits beautifully with our other family activities at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre – like trampolining, ten pin bowling and swimming.”
Developed by Hampshire-based Greenspan Projects Limited, Putiffy is suitable for all ages.
“I took my daughters who are aged 15 and 12 and we all had a great time,” said GLL Head of Service Jason Curtis.
“One of them beat me so I’m looking forward to a re-match!”
Bookings for Puttify Golf can be made online via the Bath Sports and Leisure website.
