Summer Events for Children in Wandsworth Libraries

The Summer Reading Challenge is a nationwide reading scheme for children aged 4 - 11 to take part in throughout the summer holidays. The children are challenged to read 6 books within 8 weeks ending on Saturday 7th September and in return receive free rewards to celebrate their achievement. At the end of the programme they receive a medal and a certificate. The Summer Reading Challenge is supported by national charity The Reading Agency.

We also have regular Baby Rhyme Time and Children’s Story Time sessions at all Wandsworth Libraries.

Can you find the Beast Eggs and save the world before it’s too late? Eggs will be hidden around the Children’s Library with answers needed to complete your Beat Quest worksheet.

Space Chase: 2019 Summer Reading Challenge Closing Ceremonies
Rocket to the library to finish the Summer Reading Challenge and earn your prizes. Enjoy space-themed colouring, and complete our Space Chase treasure hunt. For children and their families.
