Chair Yoga

Chair yoga for adults is a gentle practice using a Chair support, making yoga accessible for those with mobility issues. It enhances flexibility, strength, and relaxation while being suitable for all fitness levels. Every Wednesday 11.15am-11.45am.

Remembering Africans in Greenwich - Research in progress 1660-1830

Drawing on church records of baptisms and burials and old “ runaway” newspaper adverts we can piece together a picture of the men and women of African and Caribbean heritage, free and unfree, who came to Greenwich. 
 
From Deptford to Woolwich evidence of the streets, houses, institutions and families they were connected to helps to re-focus the traditional heritage story of kings and queens, ships and canons.
