Save the date: 20th – 21st July 2024
Enjoy a weekend full of fun and activities for all ages. What's more, you can get active, meet new people and explore new activities across the York Partnership. Local clubs and organisations will also be joining us to celebrate the Open Weekend and their use of our centres. Read on to find out what's on offer.

Open Day Boxfit - Get your heart racing and feel the burn with Boxfit. Boxfit is a high-intensity cardio workout based on boxing techniques using gloves and pad work. Suitable for all levels, this non-contact workout will you improve your agility, strength and overall fitness.
Open Day Gym - We offer a range of modern equipment to help you reach your fitness goals. Designed into separate zones for cardio, functional, strength, stretching and resistance, our gyms include high-quality equipment such as: Top-of-the-range treadmills, bikes and rowers to get your heart pumping. Free weights such as dumbbells, weight benches and squat racks for building strength. A selection of fixed resistance weights (ab machines, hip abductors, multi-gym stations) to help you build confidence when weight training and work specific areas of your body. Functional training areas with kettlebells, medicine balls and more to boost your workout. Stretching areas where you can cool down and stretch out after you exercise.
Open Day Dance Class - If you're seeking a fun and calorie-burning workout, dance classes are the perfect choice. Get lost in the rhythm of the latest sounds, let yourself be carried away by the moment, and simultaneously burn calories and tone your body.
Open Day Mind & Body - Yoga is a mind-body workout that flexes and strengthens your joints and muscles as you go. From energetic routines to slow, serene sequences, our teachers balance movement and meditation in each of our classes to help you get a full body workout and improve your overall wellbeing at the same time.
Open Day Pickleball - Pickleball is a fast-growing, fun racquet sport that everyone can enjoy. Combining elements of table tennis, tennis, and badminton, pickleball is perfect for all ages and abilities and is both social and energetic.
Open Day Soft Play - Suitable for children aged 6 months up to 8 years old. Soft Play Sessions include both Toddlers World Bouncer and our brand new Jungle Run Obstacle Course. These sessions are perfect for slightly older children however, there is a dedicated area for Toddlers. Slide, bounce, push, and jump – the jungle's calling, Navigate your way through the heart-pounding adventure as you conquer the Bish Bash, navigate through the rollers and ascend the steps of victory to reach the slide at the finish line
Open Day Step - A motivational class using a platform and fast music for a high intensity workout. It’s much fun, you’ll forget you’re working out!
Open Day Strength & Conditioning - Circuit routines provide a rigorous, all-body workout as you tackle a sequence of physical challenges designed to get you fitter and stronger
Open Day Swim - If you're looking to build your confidence, work on your strokes, float away any stress, or want to enjoy a swim with your family and friends, try Swim for All. These casual sessions so you can choose how you spend your time in the pool. Usual T&C’s apply.
Open Day Tennis - Tennis is a fantastic way to have fun, meet new friends, train and get fit, whatever your age, level or ability. Whether you’re a casual or committed player, we offer affordable tennis sessions for everybody. The courts will be available to book for casual use.
