Penrith Leisure Centre gym is located in the heart of Eden and is only a short drive away from the Lake District.

We have recently had a new gym refurb which we added brand new modern equipment. This equipment includes:

Resistance - Our wide range of resistance and cable equipment for each of the major muscle groups will help you sculpt, strengthen & tone.

Cardio - Get your heart racing and your blood pumping with our wide range of cardio equipment. Our selection of treadmills, bikes, stair climbers and rowing machines, will help you speed up the metabolic process and burn calories.

Free Weights - Our dedicated free weights area offers a full range of benches, dumbbells and Olympic bars that will help you achieve all of your strength goals as well as balance and co-ordination.

Inductions

Total Induction

This isession is for new to gym usage looking for a tailored exercise program to reach their fitness goals. The Fitness Instructor will provide guidance on the proper use of your chosen gym equipment and instruct you on the relevant exercises. E-mail us to book your session now.

Basic Induction

This session is aoimed at those who have previous experience with the gym and are looking for a refresh. The instructor will provide a 30-minute introduction to introduce you to our selection of equipment and answer any health and fitness-related inquiries you may have for your workout. If you feel at ease, you have the option to skip the initiation and start your exercise routine right away.

HIIT Class

Join Karen every Friday at 5pm for our High Intensity Inveterval Training (HIIT) session

The aim of the HIIT classes are to show you that you don't need a lot of time to burn a lot of calories. The class lasts 30 minute and as well as helping you burn calories quickly it will also show you new equipment in the gym you may not have used before. The classes take place in the synergy area of the gym and can be booked below.
