Gosling Sports Park has a managed car parking system in place, which works with a camera located at the front entrance to the centres car park which will pick up vehicle registration numbers upon entry and exit.
Members who hold an active Health and Fitness membership, Tennis or Gymnastics Lessons membership on an annual or monthly direct debit agreement will receive free parking.
This July will see an upgrade of numerous pieces of kit in the Gym!
Our newly-redecorated gym at Gosling Sports Park offers a wide range of state-of-the-art Technogym equipment with dedicated cardio, resistance, strength and functional zones. The functional has complete refurbishment with a new sled track placed recently and a functional frame now fully installed.
Gosling Sports Park is also home to two fitness studios, one used for a wide range of fitness classes and the other dedicated to group cycle sessions. Studios are air-conditioned and well-equipped with everything you may need during your workouts.
We proudly offer 15 tennis courts for our members and guests year-round. Choose from 10 indoor hard courts, 3 outdoor artificial clay, or 2 outdoor hard courts. From smooth Acrylic to authentic American Clay surfaces, Gosling is your home to discover and perfect your tennis game.
Our brand new soft play boasts levels of action packed fun. Your children will love exploring, climbing, sliding, jumping and much more. Our family soft play area gives children the opportunity to play in a fun environment.
Socks must be worn at all times and parental supervision is required.
The recently upgraded Multi-Zone Activity Area includes a brand-new Strike Challenge Zone (multi-level obstacle course), Trampoline Zone, Slide with foam and Trampoline zone with gladiator beams, slack lines and trampoline beds.
With a range of sessions for customers to choose from, you're guaranteed a fun afternoon with the kids. There are bookable sessions available throughout the week after school and at the weekend.

The spa pool at Gosling offers customers the opportunity to relax and unwind after an exercise session, or simply a long day. With a range of Jet and bubble stations customers can settle down by themselves or with friends for a massage. The 17m pool area also allows a gentle swim between activities.

If you ever need a break from relaxing there are padded deck chairs in the area for everyone to use.
The spa pool is for 16 years+.
After a major investment, we now offer a dedicated gymnastics space for budding gymnasts.

The Ski Centre at Gosling Sports Park is the only dry ski slope in the region; with a 160m Main Slope, a 70m Nursery Slope, and a viewing area, for the family. Experienced skiers may use the facilities during opening hours however novices are required to book onto scheduled sessions. Courses are available for all ability levels as group, private or club sessions.
Gosling Sports Park is home to 2 instant Padel Tennis courts located on the clay courts. Padel is an increasingly popular sport and we're pleased to offer this activity to the Welwyn Garden City community.
Gosling boasts 7 State of the Art , fully floodlit, 3G astroturf pitches for 5-a-side or 8-a-side football; as well as a full sized grass pitch with spectator facilities. These facilities are available between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday.
To book a 3G pitch please use our booking partner PlayFootball. Bookings can be made up to 28 days in advance, Better membership discount can be used at the checkout.
The spring loaded sports hall at Gosling services several activities and can be adapted throughout the week to facilitate different requirements.
Block bookings can also be arranged by talking to a member of our team.
On our 5 squash courts, you know you can play at the top of your game. The courts are available for group/ club block bookings only.
Our Welwyn Garden City golf driving range is an established part of the local golf community. We have years of experience in helping players make the most of their game. The range has 22 bays and our friendly staff will ensure that your visit is enjoyable. So if you’re looking to work on your swing game or just want to expend some build up energy, we can help.
Gosling Sports Park is the home of an outdoor cycling velodrome. The track is available for groups and private hire, from beginners through to track cycling enthusiasts. The track is home to Welwyn Wheelers one of the largest cycling organisations in the UK.
The track has a six-lane athletics track and space for various field events. The venue great for events and meets; of which Gosling has been hosting for over 20 years. Home to the ever-popular Herts Phoenix Athletic Club, and available for groups, private hire and events.
The centre has a number of facilities available for exclusive hire from pitches, tracks, stadium, dry ski slope, car parking and golf driving range outdoors to a trampoline park, courts, soft play, café and sports hall indoors.
