Designed in 1975 the golf course has been specifically designed to test golfers on every hole. From the tee , the 18 hole golf course measures just over 6300 yards with a par of 72 whilst providing a good mixture of long par 4’s and interesting par 3’s. Read our course guide here.
The nine hole pitch and putt golf course at Panshanger measures 50 yards to 110yards, and is great for beginners learning how to play golf before venturing on the main 18 hole course. For the more experienced golfer, it’s the perfect place to improve your short game.
Footgolf is a fun mix of football and golf played on our pitch & putt course. The aim of the game is to make your way around the course, kicking the football into the oversized golf cup using your feet in as fewer shots as possible. Footgolf is played in groups of up to 5 players with either a Size 4 or 5 football, and available to book 7 days a week. You'll need golf shoes or trainers to take part. Strictly no football boots, blades, flip-flops or sandals.
Our Performance Simulator from Foresight Sports uses The GC2 Launch Monitor. This directly measures all essential ball data at launch using ultra-high-speed cameras and HMT, whilst also measuring all critical club data.
Social Play is also available in the golf simulator, offering your favourite world-class golf course in stunning, true-to-life HD resolution. FR1 Play makes your virtual golf game the ultimate simulation experience.
Panshanger Golf Complex offers a selection of golf lessons and coaching options with our onsite PGA Professional, Nick Pinnock. Lessons can take place in any of our golf facilities including; performance simulator, practice area, 9-hole pitch and putt course, putting green or main 18-hole golf course. Individual, group, junior and adult golf lessons are available to book during the week and on weekends.

The golf club started in 1976 and has in the region of 150 members. They are affiliated to England Golf & Hertfordshire County Golf. They organise weekly competitions and other events both on weekdays & weekends throughout the year for ladies, seniors, & main club members. All members can achieve & maintain an official Congu handicap. They are also part of the Herts Friendly league playing matches against other clubs within Hertfordshire. They also enter other regional and national competitions with 2 of the senior members winning the 2019 Hertfordshire Senior Crameri Cup.
There is a modest fee for joining Panshanger Golf Club - Seniors & Ladies £45, weekend main club members £110.
Anyone looking to join the both the complex and the club will get the first year with the golf club free of charge (£25 EGU Fee to pay).
Open 7 days a week, our fully stocked golf shop offers a wide variety of brands including Callaway, Srixon and Under Armour. These and other brands cover balls, bags, clubs, clothing, shoes and accessories. Custom fittings and enquires about products are available free of charge.
Why not relax after your round of golf with a meal at The View – offering excellent food and beverage facilities and a gallery style view from the balcony of the 18th green.
Enjoy a game of squash in one of our 2 squash courts. If you are new to the game, rackets and squash balls are available to hire from reception.
