Better Pickleball Tournament
Pickleball enthusiasts, mark your calendars! A competitive, gender-neutral tournament will take place on Sunday May 11th, bringing together players of similar ratings and skill levels for an action-packed day of fun and fierce competition at the White Horse Leisure & Tennis Centre.
The tournament is designed to ensure everyone has a fair and exciting experience. Players will be grouped according to their ratings/levels, allowing them to compete against others at their level. Each player will compete in at least 8 matches throughout the day, ensuring plenty of action and opportunities to earn points.
What makes this event particularly exciting is the emphasis on the importance of every point. Every winning and losing point will have an impact, creating a dynamic and competitive atmosphere that will keep participants on their toes.
Additionally, all match results can be submitted to DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating), which will calculate player ratings that can be used for future events. This provides players with a valuable opportunity to track their progress and see how they stack up against the competition.
The Tournament is taking place on Sunday 11th May and will run from 12pm until 5pm in the sports hall. Please arrive at 11:30am to register and receive the pre-tournament briefing.
