A 20m traditional swimming pool. Depth range from 0.9m at the Shallow end to a deep end of 2m. Maintained at a temperature of 29 degrees its perfect for young families and users of all ages. Offering swimming for the community, local schools, clubs, and offering our own Better Swim School for all ages.
Dorcan Better Health & Recreation Complex offers a brand new gym, boasting over 30 stations of "Technogym" equipment, including cardio, resistance, free weight and functional stations.
For a fitness programme tailored to your needs, just ask a Better Fitness Instructor and they'll be happy to put together a workout to suit you. This also gives you the opportunity to get advice about other activities the centre may offer which could help you achieve your fitness goals.
As well as hosting our own growing programme of group fitness classes the dance studio is available to hire for your own Dance Group or small sized group booking.
We have a 4 courts sports hall.
Available for badminton, basketball, table tennis, indoor netball and available as an open space for group activities such as martial arts or gymnastics.
Courts are available to book as individual sessions or ask us about regular bookings for your sports team, group or club.
We have a full sized astro turf Hockey/Football Pitch.Also available to hire in 1/3 sections for 7 a side football.

The old gymnasium is a perfect space for your martial arts club, gymnastics group or activities that need space more than pitch markings. If you are looking for a venue for your small to medium sized group this hall is ideal.
Our outdoor netball dome is fully covered and floodlit to provide protection from the weather and training facilities all year around. The dome provides 2 courts and a space to sit with self contained toilet facilities.

Seats around 40 people and has a small kitchen attached.
Please note, this room is situated on the first floor with no lift access.
