East Manchester celebrates their employee of the year!

As we do every year, East Manchester has selected their employee of the year!  
The employee of the year is a reward that is not easy to achieve with several different criteria that staff are required to meet. 

Here at East Manchester, we pride ourselves on our customer service and Professionalism and for staff to achieve the coveted title of "Employee Of The Year", they need to display these elements amongst many other things.  

Throughout 2024 this member of staff has shown that working at East Manchester is much more than just a job and that customers are truly at the heart of everything we do. This staff member has gone above and beyond all aspects of his day-to-day role to ensure that customers constantly feel welcomed and truly have the best experience they can whilst at the centre which shown in the overwhelming amount of votes he had received throughout the nomination period, the member of staff is Andre Mastella.  

Andre is a member of staff who is always smiling and the first to welcome anyone into the centre, that can be members, new staff, management or contractors. During 2024 Andre had learnt 5 different languages to welcome members into the centre using a language that would make them feel more comfortable. If you are having an issue within the centre, he will be the first person to attempt to put that issue right.  

Since his start date Andre has always looked to improve himself for the good of the members experience, more recently he has completed his Swimming Teachers course.  

Andre is not just amazing for our customers but is truly a leading example of an employee, he always drives his team from the front and holds all to the highest possible standard.
