Belle Vue - Health & Well-Being Event

Community outreach for Belle Vue, we attended a Health & well-being event held at the Northmoor Community Centre.

We engaged with over 65 people from a range of backgrounds. Promoting everything we have to offer at Belle Vue, we also offered water, nutrition books, and other health products for visitors to take away with them.

We also took some fitness equipment on display for people to try out. In our local community, we have a massive South Asian community. It was a great help our colleague from the Pakistani community attended the event, Iman is Multi-lingual fluent in Urdu and Punjabi and often engaged with visitors. A top selling point was the Women’s only gym, Women’s only activities, and senior morning.

We managed to raise our profile as a good number of the visitors did not know about our centre or that we had plenty of Women's Only activities available. The event was organised by Northmoor Community Centre & We Matter two organisations that aim to offer a range of health and well-being services to the local community.

At the event, people were able to receive:

· Information Stalls

· Money Saving Tips

· Free Refreshments

· Money advice

· Free books

· Health and wellbeing support

We engaged with the various organisations throughout the day building new relationships and partnerships.
