Youth members enjoy all our regular activities for a minimal monthly fee. Learn to sail and or kayak. Courses include Paddle UK Discover award, Paddle UK Explore award, Paddle UK Personal Performance awards, RYA Level 1 Start Sailing, RYA Level 2 Basic Skills, RYA Stages 1 to 4 and much more.

The Westminster Boating Base charity aims to provide experiences and opportunities for young people which aid personal and social development through participation in watersports so they may fully develop as individuals.

Are you ready to master speedboat driving or earn your motor boat driving license (ICC)?

At Westminster Boating Base, an RYA-approved centr,e we offer RYA Powerboat Level 2 and Safety Boat certifications, as well as the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) with the CEVNI endorsement. The CEVNI (Code Européen des Voies de Navigation Intérieure) endorsement is essential for navigating boats on inland European waterways.

Why not give dinghy sailing a go? It’s a fantastic way to enjoy the open water plus you’ll get active moving around the boat fighting the winds to get you the most possible speed. 

Why not try kayaking? It’s great exercise and will help you connect with the great outdoors. You can canoe with others on the water while enjoying the environment and socialising with others. 

Upper Deckers provides both social and watersports activities for people aged 50 and over. We encourage everyone from all sections of the community to join.
