New Social Sports Sessions  

From Wednesday 23rd April 2025 Walthamstow Leisure Centre will be introducing 3 new Social Sports Sessions to our programme.  

Social Sports Badminton and Basketball are activities designed to promote physical fitness, teamwork and camaraderie among participants. Our focus of social sport is not on competition or high-level achievement but rather on enjoyment, social interaction, and community building. These activities provide a welcoming environment where individuals can connect with others, regardless of their skill level or experience.  

Benefits of Social Sports

Monday Nights 

Junior Social Basketball with Waleed: 5pm-6pm 
Adult Social Basketball with Waleed: 6pm-7pm 
Adult Social Badminton with Waleed: 7pm-8pm 

Wednesday Nights

Adult Social Badminton with Sofia 6pm-7pm and 7pm-8pm 

Saturday and Sunday

Adult Social Basketball with Waleed 8am-9am
