We're delighted to announce that Better Gym Teddington is set to undergo significant refurbishment starting Monday 5th August 2024. The extensive upgrade, expected to be completed by October 2024, aims to enhance the club's facilities and solidify its reputation as the leading gym in the area.

Refurbishment Details

The refurbishment will introduce state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, a brand-new spin room equipped with new spin bikes, an open-plan reception area, and new flooring throughout the club. Additional improvements include a revamped marketing and decoration scheme, the removal of the raised cardio platform to create a larger functional space, refurbished lockers, and updated toilet areas with new tiles, sinks, and cubicles.

Operational Continuity

Despite the extensive works, Better Gym Teddington will remain open throughout the refurbishment period. The contractors will implement a five-phase plan to minimise disruption to members. Certain areas may be sectioned off at times, and the gym management requests members' patience and understanding during this period.

Membership Costs and Equipment Changes

Current membership prices will not be affected by the refurbishment. The gym will introduce several new pieces of equipment, including a Hack Squat, Lying Leg Curl, Hip Thrust, Decline Bench, T-Bar Row, and Dual Pec/Reverse Fly. However, popular existing machines will remain in place to ensure members can continue to enjoy their favorite workouts.

Relaunch Celebration

An official relaunch party will be scheduled to celebrate the completion of the refurbishment. The event promises to be a memorable occasion for all members, with further details to be announced.

For any questions or concerns about the refurbishment project, members are encouraged to contact the team at Teddington@GLL.ORG.
