More Ways to Move this Easter!
This Easter holidays, Better Newham Active Communities has got a great FREE programme to keep kids engaged and active.
Black Arrows Badminton Club and Essex County Cricket Club will be delivering high quality coaching sessions with a focus on their sport whilst also integrating fun games and other sports.
Activities promise to banish boredom, keeping kids entertained in a safe, friendly environment whilst also giving them an opportunity to burn off some of those extra Easter chocolate calories.
Activities are offered free through Better’s partnership with Newham Council.

In addition to the community sessions taking place, Newham’s three leisure centres are also running their own special activities including Family Fun Swim sessions, Junior Gym activities and Holiday Short Course Swimming Lessons.
Newham Leisure Centre
Newham Leisure Centre is running Swim for All sessions for the whole family on every weekday during the holidays as well as Aqua Splash sessions with fun inflatables in the pool on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. As well as these activities there are also Junior Gym Sessions for 11-17 year olds to try out the gym Monday to Friday at 10am-12pm and 4pm-6pm. For all activities please click here.
East Ham Leisure Centre
In addition to the Badminton sessions taking place at East Ham Leisure Centre, there will also be Family Fun Swim sessions every day throughout the Easter Holiday period. For all activities please click here.
Atherton Leisure Centre
Atherton Leisure centre is running a whole host of fun activities this Easter Holiday. Similarly to East Ham and Newham they will be running Family Fun Swim and Junior Gym Sessions all through the week. In addition to this the Soft Play is open daily from 9am-7pm and Swim for All is only £1 before 10am. For all activities please click here.
