Disc Golf
Disc golf, formerly known as frisbee golf, is a sport in which players throw a disc at a target, following similar rules to golf. Most disc golf discs are made out of polypropylene plastic, which is a thermoplastic polymer resin used in a wide variety of applications. The sport is played on a course with 9 or 18 holes, and players complete a hole by throwing a disc from a tee pad or area toward a target, known as a basket. The baskets are designed to catch the incoming discs, and the number of throws a player uses to reach each basket is tallied. Players seek to complete each hole in the lowest number of total throws.
All of the disc golf holes in Morden Park are marked with distance to the hole and tee off points. You can either bring your own discs or borrow disc golf equipment from Morden Leisure Centre for a £10 refundable deposit.
Pitch And Putt
The great, FREE 9 hole pitch and putt golf course is still located in the beautiful grounds of Morden Park next to Morden Leisure Centre and the Morden Register Office. This course is available to use for all ability levels and is on the same location as the Disc Golf course.
Pitch and Putt is a smaller course to a normal golf course with shorter holes therefore anyone can play no matter how good you are! You generally only need 2 or 3 clubs also for pitch and putt. But please ensure that you bring these with you, as you cannot borrow clubs or other equipment from Morden Leisure Centre or the Register Office.

One of the great things about Morden Park is that you can play both disc golf and pitch and putt alongside one another. However, please be considerate to other players if doing so.
