The gymnastics programme at Canons Leisure Centre has been running for over 30 years, providing a range of classes for all ages and abilities to the local community and beyond. We offer a variety of equipment including a Tumble Track, Air Track, Trampoline, Bars, Vault, Beams and Floor Area, which allows us to offer a variety of activities and lessons each week.

Sessions include Adult & Child Gymnastics drop-ins, Rise Discover Lessons for 18 months – 4 Years, Rise Explore/Excel Lessons for 5yrs+, and our competitive Squad Programme (Merton Gymnastics club) which are all led by our team of fully qualified gymnastic coaches.

Rise Gymnastics

Rise Gymnastics Lessons - In a warm and welcoming environment your child will learn the fundamental skills with our Rise Gymnastics programme. Aiming to develop your child's agility, balance, coordination and more, as well as encouraging children to develop naturally in our activity focused sessions.

Suitable for children of all ages, the fun packed programme provides gymnasts with an immersive creative experience based on achieving results at their own pace whilst building key foundation skills. Promoting emotional and physical development gymnastics is an amazing sport, whilst the Rise programme with help your child stay motivated by achieving goals regularly with a range of medals and opportunities to reward achievement.

Merton Gymnastics Club

Merton Gymnastics Club – Merton Gymnastics Club offers a squad programme for Women’s Artistic, Floor & Vault, and Display gymnastics. Progression into a squad group is by invitation only, with gymnasts gaining the opportunity to train for an increased number of hours each week. Squad gymnasts train towards competing at a number of competitions throughout the year, with our display team performing at various festivals/events, both locally and further afield.
