Jumar's first passion was in sports especially street and indoor basketball. With no knowledge of any dance styles or technique, At aged 14 dance became a hobby improvising in the streets, at home and playground. After finishing his GCSE dance with top marks his tutor encouraged jumar to train professionally after secondary school. At aged 17, dance movement became a part of his lifestyle, learning classical, urban and world dance forms training at Laban CAT, Barnet college and then graduating in 2014 with urban dance degree at The university of east london. A versatile performer who is still uncovering his own way of moving infusing his knowledge in hip hop theatre, street dance and contemporary. Jumar has performed with various companies and platforms including Boy Blue Entertainment, B-hybrid dance, Spoken Movement, MCDC, Foreign Bodies Orchestra, Hofesh Schecter - Hofest intern, East London dance, Move it, World of dance, artist 4 artist, Blueprint, breakin convention, copper box Stratford arena, rich mix,saddlers wells/Lilian Baylis, peacock theatre, Barbican theatre, Harvest London, the five UK tour, and Grianan theatre.
