Easter Activities at Sobell Leisure Centre
The Easter holidays have arrived at Sobell Leisure Centre and there is plenty of fun activities to keep the children entertained. Our new Active Play Area for kids aged 10 and under is open 9am-6pm every day (9am-5pm on Bank Holidays). With features including a Go-Kart area, climbable mangrove tree, playhouse games room, rope bridge and baby sensory area (as part of a dedicated under 2s area), this simply is the place to let your children enter a new world of fun.
On Wednesday 16th April from 4pm-6pm, the centre will be hosting a special Easter Active Play! This will be a 2-hour session in the play area and includes an Easter egg hunt, egg decorating and more We are also expecting a special guest appearance from the Easter bunny! There are limited spaces available so book now to avoid disappointment.
We understand how important it is to introduce children to a healthy lifestyle early on. That’s why we offer a range of term-time and holiday activities for kids that help them learn about fitness and develop key skills while having fun at the same time. During the school holidays we have added additional junior gym sessions (age 11-17), available Monday-Friday 10am-3pm. Whether they’re already into sports or you want to help them learn about getting active, a Better Health Junior membership is a great way to start their fitness journey.
Our fun packed gymnastics holiday courses (age 4-15) are designed to develop your child's coordination and confidence. These sessions are for all levels, whether they are new to gymnastics or already take part in our regular lessons. Our friendly staff are always on hand to help, and our trained instructors work to make sure everyone is included. That means we’re there to support your child every step of the way.
