Senior Activities are sessions aimed at those 65+ to keep you fit and active, they also provide a great opportunity to socialise and meet new friends. We offer a wide range of activities suitable for all abilities. The activities are designed to keep you healthy while having fun at the same time.
SENIORS CLUB
Seniors Club Sessions
Stay active, socialise and meet new friends at our senior club sessions. This will include supervised gym and stretching sessions with our club lead Terry or why not take part in a fitness class designed for senior members. You can then finish off by winding down with a tea or coffee in the lounge whilst playing some of your favourite games before you head off home to put your feet up and relax.

Fitness Classes
We offer a range of specially designed classes called Basics. These classes are perfect for seniors. They provide a safe and supportive environment to start or continue your fitness journey. Take advantage of our Better Senior Activities Programme at Highgrove Pool and Fitness Centre. No matter what your ability, you're bound to find a session you'll enjoy.
Gym Workout
As we age, it becomes increasingly important to stay active and maintain our physical health. That's why we're proud to offer our senior members access to our newly refurbished. With the support of our qualified fitness staff and a variety of gym inductions available, seniors can feel safe and confident as they work towards their fitness goals. Regular exercise has been shown to have numerous benefits for seniors, including improved balance, increased mobility, and a reduced risk of chronic illness.
Swimming
If you're looking for a low-impact exercise to help you get in shape, swimming is an excellent option. At Highgrove Pool and Fitness Centre, we have a range of different swimming sessions for you to take part in. Starting with Swim for Fitness that caters to various speeds and abilities, from slow lanes to fast lanes. We also offer Swim for All sessions for those who prefer a more relaxed swimming experience. Whatever your preference, our facilities provide the perfect environment for a refreshing swim.
ARE YOU A HILLINGDON RESIDENT AND OVER THE AGE OF 65?
If so, we offer FREE swimming at all times when the pool is open to the public.

FREE SWIMMING LESSONS FOR OVER 65+ RESIDENTS
If you would like to learn to swim, at Highgrove Pool, we offer FREE swimming lessons for 65+ residents. It is never too late, to learn this life skill. Our experienced teacher, Frances Stratton, will make the session the perfect environment to meet new people as well as to learn and make you feel confident in the water.
