We want customers who have additional needs to feel comfortable to access our centre. As part of this, we have engaged AccessAble, who work with over 100 disability groups, to create a detailed accessibility report that includes facts, figures and pictures of any areas that our customers may need to access. This way, our users can feel confident about how they can access the centre before they attend.
Football Pitches
Hackney Marshes is already internationally known as the spiritual home of Sunday League Football, with over 70 matches played every week involving dozens of teams in multiple leagues.
There are several pitches which are available for use by leagues, schools, community groups and residents.
Other sports facilities include one show pitch, 8 junior football pitches and up to 12 mini pitches.
Rugby Pitches
There are 3 rugby pitches at Hackney Marshes which are available for use by leagues, schools, community groups and residents.
Cricket Pitches
Hackney Marshes have 3 grass cricket pitches and 7 non-turf cricket pitches which are available for use by leagues, schools, community groups and residents.

Our fully licensed and modern bar/function area holds up to 300 people, and is available for hire for your special event. We can host birthday parties, engagements, wedding receptions, wakes, sporting events, award nights, social nights and any other private function.
Our large sun terrace looks over the famous pitches on the Hackney Marshes, giving a fantastic back drop to enjoy. We can offer in-house catering to suit your needs, or you can bring in external caterers subject to certain conditions. Our dedicated Event Manager is also available to assist with making your event extra special, and everything that you wish for.
