At the new Britannia Leisure Centre we offer a fantastic 25m, 6 lane pool and 20m training pool to cater for all your swimming needs.
If you’re honing your swimming technique, or introducing your little one to the pool, you’re in great hands. Britannia Leisure Centre hosts a range of swimming lessons and courses for all ages and abilities, with expert guidance from qualified swimming instructors.
The 6 lane, 25m main pool is programmed for lane swimming, general swimming, school and club hire. We also have a poolpod, which lifts and gives you independent, comfortable access to the pool, getting you swimming quickly and easily.
The 20m, training Pool is an ideal pool to learn and gain water confidence and is used for family sessions and also our Better Swim School. The training pool is also fitted with sensory equipment such as lighting including all the colours of a rainbow, a sound system and projectors that can show all different animals around the pool.
