The Clubhouse

Our cafe is open to all on Saturdays during the hockey season September to March.

With several local hockey clubs using us as their home ground there's usually an opportunity to catch a match from the stands at the weekend. A balcony overlooking the four indoor tennis courts can be acessed from the café.

Choose from our delicious sandwiches, salads and snacks as well as hot and cold beverages. Our menu is varied offering something for everyone including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Drinks can be served with a range of milk alternatives just let us know when ordering. Please note our cafe is cashless. 

Fancy a tipple? We stock wine, beer and ciders  plus spirits and mixers, so kick back and relax.

  • If you bring your own reusable cup we’ll take 20p off the price of your hot drink

  • We recycle all our coffee grounds

  • We only use disposable cups and we recycle all those put in our trash

Our café also provides pre-booked catering for meetings, and Hockey Teas for clubs! If you’re interested drop us an email so we can get you booked in. 

Food and drink at ticketed events

Only food and drink purchased from Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre can be consumed within the venue. Depending on the size of the event you’ll find extra outlets serving a wider variety of hot and cold food and drink. Our aim is to cater for many dietary requirements.

During ticketed events spectators can apply for a medical dietary requirement exemption with the venue directly or event hirer. Spectators with insulin kits along with a reasonable amount of sugary tablets/sweets to manage their condition in case of an emergency, don’t require to obtain a medical exemption certificate.

Catering for corporate events and meetings
