England Hockey
England Hockey is the national governing body for the sport of field hockey in England. There are separate governing bodies for the sport in the other parts of the United Kingdom.
The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA)
The Lawn Tennis Association is the national governing body of tennis in Great Britain, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. Founded in 1888, the LTA promotes all levels of lawn tennis. The organisation believes that tennis can provide "physical, social and mental rewards both on and off the court."
Wapping Hockey Club
Founded in 1989 and based in East London (home grounds in Wapping, Tower Hamlets and Stratford, Newham), sporting 10 men’s teams, 7 women’s teams, 2 mixed teams alongside dedicated masters teams and junior section. Wapping Hockey Club is one of the UK’s largest field hockey clubs.
East London Hockey Club
East London Hockey Club was founded in 1990 as a field hockey team from the Metropolitan Police. Today we have open membership, with our 450 members covering the full spectrum of age, gender and ability. Having doubled in size in the last seven years, the club currently has eleven men's and twelve ladies teams (including Masters and indoor), and two mixed teams, together with a well-established youth section.
Crostyx Hockey Club
Crostyx is a vibrant London based hockey club running four adult men’s and four adult ladies teams. The top two men’s teams compete in the London League, in Division 1 and Division 3 North respectively. The men’s 3rd and 4th XI compete in the East League. All four ladies teams compete in the East league, with the 1st XI competing in Division 1 South.
Waltham Forest Hockey Club
Waltham Forest Hockey Club has five men’s teams, four women’s teams, a mixed team, a large youth section and Forest Flyerz (the nation’s leading disability hockey programme for anyone with a learning or physical disability).
