Your recently re-decorated gym has been rearranged with dedicated cardio, strength, resistance and functional zones. The gym boasts around 100 pieces of state-of-the-art Technogym equipment with loads of functional gear to fit all your health and fitness needs.
Our 25 meters main pool can be arranged with up to 8 single lanes. The depth ranges from 1 to 2 meters, and the water temperature is set up around 27 degrees. Changing room areas, accessible facilities, and viewing galleries are also available. The pool offers a wide range of activities suitable for everyone.
Situated in its own pool area, the teaching pool is available for both casual and programmed sessions, including Toddler Time and Better Swim School Lessons. The pool has a movable floor that can be adjusted for each activity with slightly warmer water up to 29 degrees.
The Hive offers a wide range of fitness classes across two modern, air-conditioned, well-equipped studios and a dedicated group cycle zone in the gym. Studio one hosts all mind and body sessions, while studio two is where cardio, dance and strength, and conditioning classes take place.
3g pitch is available to hire in hourly blocks, offering 5-a-side or 11-a-side football games. The pitches are fully floodlit, and goals are available as part of the session. Sessions can be booked online.
We offer a great range of activities in the sports hall including 4 badminton courts, basketball courts and soft play. Please speak to a member of staff to arrange block bookings or events.
Our modern and air-conditioned meeting room is available to hire for meetings and conferences. The room is equipped with a TV, projector and tea and coffee stations. For more information contact the centre.
We want customers who have additional needs to feel comfortable to access our centre. As part of this, we have engaged AccessAble, who work with over 100 disability groups, to create a detailed accessibility report that includes facts, figures and pictures of any areas that our customers may need to access. This way, our users can feel confident about how they can access the centre before they attend.
The Changing Places facility at The Hive Leisure Centre is a fully accessible and fitted out changing room with a hoist tracking system to enable sling users full access to the amenities. This facility is available at no charge to those users who need access to these specific changing provisions.
