Junior Gym Information
Our junior gym sessions at The Sovereign Centre are designed for 11-15-year-olds, providing a safe and supportive environment to develop healthy fitness habits. With access to the gym and swimming facilities, juniors can enjoy structured exercise while building confidence. After completing an induction and receiving a programme card, members aged 11-13 years can attend junior gym sessions when accompanied by someone 16+, while those aged 14-15 years can attend independently. As part of these sessions, juniors can also benefit from a gym induction (whichis mandatory prior to attending the gym for the first time), fitness programme, and monthly progress reviews.

Junior Membership
Help your child kick-start their fitness journey at The Sovereign Centre with a Junior Gym membership, designed for 11-17-year-olds. Whether they’re new to exercise or already into sports, our junior gym sessions and fitness classes provide a fun, supportive environment where they can stay active and learn to use gym equipment safely under the guidance of expert instructors.
A Junior Gym membership also includes access to swimming pools across the UK (with a UK-wide membership) and exclusive discounts on junior activities, including lessons and courses. As part of a social enterprise, every visit supports inclusive activities for the whole community. All juniors must complete an induction before using the gym.

Junior Gym Induction
Help your child build confidence and reach their fitness goals in a supportive environment. Whether they're just starting their fitness journey or already active in sports, our qualified Fitness Instructors are on hand during Junior Gym sessions to provide supervision, motivation, and guidance. Before their first session, all juniors must book and attend a Junior Gym Induction, where they’ll learn how to use the equipment safely and exercise effectively. Once signed up and set up with a membership, juniors can easily manage their bookings through the Better UK app.
