Something to celebrate? Maryport Activity Centre is the perfect spot to celebrate any special occasion with our Clip 'n Climb birthday parties or soft play parties. Whether it’s a birthday bash, sports club event, celebrating an achievement or an end of school gathering, we’d love to host your ultimate event. Choose from a range of fun-filled activities with non-stop excitement that you and your guests will never forget. With friendly supervision and lots of fun activities, we’ll help you plan a party the whole playground will be talking about!

Party Packages

Exclusive Clip 'N' Climb parties

Book a party that your child’s friends and peers won’t stop talking about. Our Exclusive Clip 'n' Climb party gives your group exclusive access to all features within the climbing wall . Let your guests climb their way to the top of our ten meter walls or take a leap from our stairway to heaven feature.

Upon arrival you will be greeted at reception and issued with your wristbands. You will then be taken to the Clip 'n' Climb induction room to be harnessed and have a safety briefing, once completed you can then climb until your hearts content!  Participants must be ages 4 years plus.

Please note that you will be given access to your party room 15 minutes before the end of your activity. The following adult supervision ratios which must be adhered to when in the Clip 'n' Climb arena:

4 - 7 years: 1 adult:2 children

8 - 15 years - 1 adult:10 children

Price: £220- minimum 10 chidren, £20 for each additional child

Days and Times: Saturday and Sunday 11:00-12:30

Duration: 1 hour activity and 30 minutes food

Public Clip 'n' Climb Parties

 This is during a public session so other people will be using the Clip n Climb at the same time as your party

Soft Play Parties

Invite your friends to join you for a party in our fantastic brand new Soft Play at Maryport Activity Centre. Your party will offer  various activites, motions and textures to stimulate imaginative and creative play. Parent/guardian supervision is required throughout your party within the Soft Play you will be given access to your party room 15 minutes before the end of your activity

This is during a public session so other people will be using the Soft Play at the same time as your party. Weekday options also available upon request

 Food option 1 (each individual childs choice):

  • Fish fingers
  • Chicken nuggets

 Food option 2 (full party):

  • Slab Pizzas (cheese & pepperoni)
  • Served with chips

 Food option 3 (full party):

  • Ham sandwiches
  • Jam sandwiches
  • Sausage Rolls 

Each Party is served with chips a pic n mix bag & juice.

Party Invitations

We have  the party invitations covered too. Once your booking is confirmired you will be emailed party invitations for you to print off and send to your guests. 

Birthday cakes with candles, banners & balloons are all permittted in the party room. 

Party T&C's

1.0 Administration

1.1 Terms and conditions are signed via a tick box upon booking.

1.2 All parties must have paid for any additional attendees 7 days prior to the booking and final numbers confirmed. The centre will contact you regarding specific party information up to 72 hours after booking.

1.3 The Birthday Party Administrator will require a minimum of 30 days notice in order to cancel your booking. A 50% administration fee will remain payable for any cancellation. Failure to provide 30 days notice may prevent a refund from being issued. In cases of sickness, a full refund, minus the administrative fee will be refunded as long as a doctor’s note is provided.

1.4 Payments are to be made online via the app, website or in-centre. 

1.5 The Birthday Party Administrator will require a minimum of 14 days notice for any changes to your booking. We regret that
we will not be able to accommodate any changes made after this period.

1.6 If you wish to add any guests onto your booking, a minimum of 1 weeks notice is required. Please ensure you email the centre requesting additional guest, the centre will call to take additional payments. Centre emails can be found on their specific party page.

 

2.0 General Party Rules

2.1 All customers should adhere to the Leisure Centres rules, which are displayed throughout the premises.

2.2 Please arrive for your birthday party 15 minutes before.

2.3 The party activity will last for 1 hour and then 30 minutes for food in a party room. A prompt exit after your party will be required to allow for full sanitisation of the party room for the next party.

2.4 Please ensure all attendees are aware of the times of the booking. We regret that we will be unable to alter times or provide extensions to your booking on the day.

2.5 Please inform the Birthday Party Administrator straight away of any change in numbers. The birthday party administrator
will need to be given at least 1 weeks notice of any changes.

2.6 The Hirer will need to ensure that they have the contact details of all of the parents / guardians of the children in attendance for use in the event of an emergency

2.7 GLL cannot accept any liability for the loss, damage or theft of any items. Please take care not to leave belongings behind
or unattended and please do not bring valuables to the centre.

2.8 Use of cameras and video imaging equipment specifically within the party is only permitted in our exclusive parties.  

2.9 Alcohol is not permitted to be consumed within Children’s Birthday parties.
