Maindy Centre is perfectly located on the door step of the City Centre. Whether it's a major concert or sporting event Maindy Centre can provide hassle free parking.
Just turn up on event day, park up and pop into reception to pay the £10 fee and you're either a short bus journey or 20 minute walk away from the city centre.
There is parking enforcement in place.
No parking overnight is permitted.

Our spacious health and fitness suite has an extensive range of all new Technogym equipment including cardio vascular and resistance machines. There’s also a dedicated free weights section and a large warm up area which is perfect for extra training.
Staying motivated can be a challenge, but with the wide variety of group fitness classes we offer together with a great team of fitness instructors you’ll find the perfect way to keep active.Whether your goal is fitness or fun, we’ve got classes for the whole community. From our basic fitness classes for older adults to our mix of high energy classes and calming Tai Chi or yoga sessions, we’ve got something to suit everyone.
Pedal your way fit in our air conditioned dedicated group cycling studio. The centre features 9 state-of-the-art Technogym bikes and is the perfect class to get you set up for your day ahead!
Built back in 1958 for the British Empire and Commonwealth Games, Better Maindy Centre’s cycle track is 460m in length. Regularly used by clubs such as Maindy Flyers Junior Cycling Club who trained the 2018 Tour De France winner, Geraint Thomas, the cycle track has been a popular outdoor facility in the Cardiff area.
Visitors to the centre can use the track on a pay as you go basis (dependant on availability) or your little ones can attend our sessions run on the track such as Balance Bikes and Junior Triathlon. Ensure you bring your own bike and safety gear!

Our 25m, 6 lane swimming pool is unique with its double shallow ended layout, perfect for family swimming, local schools and Better Swim School lessons. We also run lane swimming sessions for those looking for a fitness swim as well as regular water workouts. We run private women’s and girls only sessions, plus we are the perfect venue for club hire.

We have a meeting / training room available to hire which is fully air conditioned with great views of the Cycle Velodrome.
The room can hold 16 people class room style and benefits from a ceiling mounted projector and fully working kitchen.

Situated in its own dedicated space downstairs, you can now enjoy 6 stations with varying design of bags plus a speed ball. In addition we have installed TRX stations for you to add an extra workout to your session.
