Get your child off to a great start to their fitness journey at Girdwood Community Hub. With a variety of activities to choose from, there's something for every level of ability.
Adult and Child Sessions
Alongside our junior gym sessions for 11-17 year olds, we also run adult and junior gym sessions where you can work out with your child. Like our other gym workout sessions, these give you and your child the chance to boost your fitness in the gym and use a range of equipment. While adults take full responsibility for children in these sessions, our expert Fitness Instructors are always on hand to help.
Our sessions run Monday - Friday 5.30pm-8pm and 10am-4pm on weekends.
Junior Gym
Junior gym is a dedicated session where older children aged between 11-17 can access the gym and get active. All sessions have a member of staff present, so if you are unfamiliar with any equipment, you can always ask them for safety advice. All juniors are required to book a free junior gym induction prior to attending to help build your child's confidence in the gym and learn how to use the equipment safely.
Our Junior Gym sessions run:
Monday – Friday 3.30pm – 5.30pm
Saturday 11am -1pm

Junior Gym Induction
To ensure the safety of each of our junior members they must undertake a junior gym induction with one of our qualified fitness instructors. they will show you how to use our gym safely and efficiently whilst also providing a programme to keep you on track.
Inductions are available on Monday's, Tuesday's and Thursday's from 3.30pm - 5pm
