GLL takes all reasonable steps to ensure that staff working with children, young people and adults at risk within the organisation are competent and safe to do so, through following stringent recruitment procedures, providing training, enforcing a staff code of conduct and having clear procedures to follow when concerns are raised. We regard safeguarding as everyone’s responsibility and, where appropriate, work in partnership with other organisations to effectively safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk.
GLL recognises that all children, young people and adults at risk have an equal right to protection and we are committed to applying the standards laid out in our Safeguarding Policy and Procedure consistently, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
