The Alex Yee Ladywell Arena is proud to be the home and training venue for two local football clubs. Both clubs are fiercely passionate about football and representing the borough of Lewisham.
Our clubs - Lewisham Borough Community FC
The club was established in 2003 as a merger of Elms, Moonshot and Ten Em Bee. All three clubs were based in the borough of Lewisham and were at the time competing at a similar level. The three clubs agreed that for the health of football within the borough that the clubs should pull all resources together and look to achieve a higher status of football as a collective. The newly formed Lewisham Borough Community FC were admitted to Division One West of the Kent County League and went to win the division at the first attempt. The club were promoted to the Premier Division, which they won in 2005–06 under the management of Anthony Sands. In 2011 they were founding members of the Kent Invicta League.
The club play all of their home matches at The Alex Yee Ladywell Arena, with games uusally taking place on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
