The Alex Yee Ladywell Arena on Silvermere Road is Lewisham's only athletics venue, tucked at the back of Ladywell Fields Park near Catford Bridge and Ladywell stations. The floodlit running track draws athletes and casual runners alike, while our compact gym offers all the essentials for power and strength training in a relaxed atmosphere. We've got outdoor pitches for football and other sports, plus a multi-functional room for table tennis, meetings and birthday celebrations. The centre was renamed in 2024 to honour Alex Yee, the Olympic gold medallist who trained here. We partner with local schools, Lewisham Borough FC, KAC Athletics Club and S-Factor Athletics Academy to keep the community moving and active all year round.
