WELCOME TO OASIS SPORTS CENTRE OUTDOOR POOL
We're upgrading the outdoor pool from 30th September 2024. To enable us to complete upgrades, the outdoor pool will be temporarily closed from 30th September for 4 weeks. The indoor will remain open during this time.
Oasis Sports Centre is a popular choice in the heart of Central London. Featuring a 27.5m Outdoor Pool, Outdoor Sauna and a large rooftop terrace to Sunbathing, you can make the most of this outdoor location all year round.
The heated outdoor pool is open from 6:30 to 21:00 for a variety of sessions including Swim for Fitness and Swim for All. A few minutes’ walk from Covent Garden, Holborn and Tottenham Court Road Station, Oasis is an extremely convenient walk from each nearby station.
We also have an indoor 25m pool offering Swim For All and Swim for Fitness sessions available to book all year round.
BOOK YOUR SESSION NOW
All swim sessions for members and non-members, should be prebooked in advance and can be booked 7 days in advance either via the Better UK app on the Oasis Sports Centre page, or online here, to avoid disappointment.
If you are unable to book, please visit reception when you arrive, and the team will be able to help as long as spaces are available.
MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR SWIM
As well as indoor female and male changing facilities, you'll also find outdoor cubicles and showers for swimmers to get changed. To keep your valuables safe, there are lockers for use in all the changing rooms in which you can purchase a token for 30p to use (non return).
You will need to purchase a pool entry if you want to sunbathe on the rooftop terrace or if you wish to stay for longer than the swim sessions, you can purchase a Day Pass for £20 which allows stay for the entire day.
Before you come, make sure you check out the timetable and book a suitable session.
When you arrive for your session, any members can scan their booking code, via the better UK app directly at the gates on reception. Any non-members or if you haven’t made a booking, please visit Reception and speak to a member of staff who will be happy to help.

SWIMMING TIPS
To ensure you get the most out of your swim at Oasis Sports Centre, here are a few tips to help you prepare for the pool:
- Pre Cleanse - please help us to keep your pool clean by following our Swim Hygiene guidelines by showering and using the toilet facilities before you swim.
- Respect Others - people of different standards and abilities will use the pool. Please respect their right to enjoy their swim.
- Choose your speed - choose your lane using the fast, medium and slow signs and by watching those already swimming. Before pushing off at each turn, check to see if anyone faster is approaching.
- Be mindful of direction- please follow the directional signs and move across to the appropriate side of the lane for each length.
- Think of space- try and leave at least 5 metres between yourself and another swimmer and if it’s possible to see a pace clock, then a 5 second gap is just as good.
- Pick your strokes - wide stokes such as butterfly and breaststroke should be avoided when the lanes become busy. If you change to a slower stroke as part of your session, think about moving lanes.
- Use equipment – fitness swimming training equipment, such as fins and hand paddles, is permitted at the discretion of the lifeguard and based on capacity. Snorkels can be used in conjunction with conventional swimming goggles.
- Take time to rest - whether stopping for a rest or catching your breath after completing your swim, please be mindful that others using the lane will want to keep on swimming without stopping
- Share- celebrate your achievements and share your swimming stories with us on social media using #betterswimming, we’d love to hear them!
