Holdbrook Primary School take on Lee Valley White Water Centre
We were excited to welcome pupils of Holdbrook Primary School who had a whale of a time when they were invited to take part in Kayaking and Paddleboarding sessions at Lee Valley White Water Centre. Based in Waltham Cross and a stone's throw from Lee Valley White Water Centre, it was a perfect opportunity to give the children a memorable experience at an Olympic legacy venue, while also supporting two instructors, Josh and Tim, in gaining distinctions in their Level 3 Outdoor Activity Instructor qualifications.
Speaking about the experience, Headteacher, Michael Mackey said, “Taking our students to Lee Valley White Water Centre has been an incredible experience. It's a fantastic facility right on our doorstep, providing wonderful opportunities for our children to learn and grow. The enthusiasm and excitement they showed in the water is truly inspiring, and it's a joy to see them gain confidence and develop new skills. Hopefully this is something we can do more often in the future.”
