Café 42 Degrees

Why Café 42 Degrees you may ask – it’s named after the angle of the slope on the velodrome track! Our licensed cashless café is open to all, you don’t have to be taking part in one of our cycling activities to visit, and what better place to relax while you look out over the iconic velodrome track or gaze out into Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. 

Choose from our delicious and freshly prepared paninis, sandwiches and snacks as well as hot and cold beverages. Our menu is varied offering something for everyone including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Drinks can be served with a range of milk alternatives just let us know when ordering.

In a rush and need a quick refill? No worries we offer a takeaway service just let us know it’s to go when you order.

Fancy a tipple? We stock wine, bottled beer and ciders  plus spirits and mixers, so kick back and relax as you take in the atmosphere of this inspiring location.

Food and drink at ticketed events

Only food and drink purchased from Lee Valley VeloPark can be consumed within the venue. Depending on the size of the event you’ll find extra outlets serving a wider variety of hot and cold food and drink. Our aim is to cater for many dietary requirements.

During ticketed events spectators can apply for a medical dietary requirement exemption with the venue directly or event hirer. Spectators with insulin kits along with a reasonable amount of sugary tablets/sweets to manage their condition in case of an emergency, don’t require to obtain a medical exemption certificate.
