At Lee Valley Ice Centre, we welcomed the team from Pavillion Films who were working on a powerful new project ‘The Game That Saved My Life’.
The gripping ice hockey story is set against the backdrop of our state of the art £30 million ice centre, the film showcases not just the intensity of the sport but also the incredible versatility of our venue for creative projects whether they be film or photography
Directed and produced by David Dunnage, with Bobby Goulding as Director of Photography and an off ice camera operation led by Danny Cordeaux, the crew seamlessly captured the raw energy and emotion of the game - featuring ice hockey players Stevie Dunnage, Harry Gulliver, Brandon Ayliffe and Danny Milton.
The story was brought to life with the help of cutting edge Canon equipment, including the EOS C500 II and Flex Zoom cinema lenses.
