Sir Mo Farah inspires youngsters at One Mo Minithon
Lee Valley Athletics Centre was buzzing with excitement on Saturday 14 September 2024, as it hosted a groundbreaking One Mo Minithon, spearheaded by double Olympic and multi world champion Sir Mo Farah and sponsored by B&M.
Kids of all ages took part in up to three track and field events, competing for medals and more. Categories included Under 9s, Under 11s, and Under 13s. The event was officially recognised by UK Athletics, with most results recorded on the Power of 10 ranking website.
The crowd cheered as parents faced off against Sir Mo Farah himself in a spectacular race, and youngsters relished the chance to quiz and get autographs from the Olympic legend.
Health specialist Touch Tuina also provided free consultations and treatments for all participants throughout the day.
