Joanne Ryan shines with silver at Indoor British Masters Championships
Joanne Ryan is a dedicated athlete who has been training at Lee Valley Athletics Centre for several years now. Joanne made waves at the Indoor British Masters Athletics Championships at her home track on 18 February 2024. Competing in the Women’s 60m category, Ryan delivered an impressive performance that captured the attention of spectators.
This success follows on from clinching a gold medal in the 4x100m relay for Team Great Britain in Italy at the European Masters Athletics Championships last year.
Joanne Ryan secured a convincing victory in Heat One, earning her spot in the finals. Undaunted by the pressure, she showcased her determination, ultimately claiming a silver medal in a fiercely competitive final.
With several Indoor races scheduled in March, including challenges in the 60m and 200m categories, Joanne remains focused on honing her abilities and pushing her limits.
