On Social Enterprise Day, Thursday 21st November a promotional code for a free day pass will be available. This day pass will provide customers with access to the gym, swimming and group fitness classes. Alongside accessing our standard timetable for free, Eastern will also be providing the following additional open day activities.

Parkinson’s Circuit is an exercise class for people living with Parkinson's. Sessions are delivered by our Parkinson’s qualified Instructor. The class includes Parkinson’s specific exercise with an emphasis on big movement, high effort, strengthening and co-ordination to challenge the brain and body. This class is a standing class, with the opportunity for people to work at a higher intensity empowering them to manage their Parkinson’s through a station by station based exercise class.
Strength and Conditioning
Strength and Conditioning classes will help to improve your strength, posture and tone up the whole body. Doesn't matter if you just starting your fitness journey or want to add something different to your training regime, these classes are suitable for all fitness levels.
Total Body Conditioning
Once you start, you won’t ever want to stop. These intense, exciting classes combine cardio and conditioning and features a range of weight-based exercises for a full on, high-energy workout.
Circuits
Intense workout for immense results. We’ll put you through your paces, with high-energy interval training, designed to push you that little bit further and encourage a bit of healthy competition.
Boxfit
A class that really packs a punch. Boxfit uses a circuit style combined with a range of boxing techniques to get your heart racing and leave you feeling fighting fit.
TRX
TRX is a workout that uses your body weight and gravity as resistance to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility and core and joint stability. Suitable for all levels of fitness and guided by one of our qualified fitness instructors, this fun work out only takes 45 minutes.
Cardio
Cardio are high-energy classes that will bring your heart rate up and provide a great calorie burning workout to the music. If you need something more challenging to add to your regular fitness routine and improve your cardiovascular fitness these are for you to join in.
Aerobics
Get fit the fun way. You’ll perform a range of cardio moves, taking each at your own pace, all guided by our friendly, motivational instructors.
Water Workout
Refresh yourself! These invigorating, effective, but low-impact workouts in the water are easy on your joints. Choose from one of our themed or discipline-based classes.
Step
Step it up and get in great shape. A motivational class using a platform and fast music for a high intensity workout. It’s so much fun, you’ll forget you’re working out!
Group Cycle
Pedal your way fit. Work at your own pace as you cycle along with the group in one of our themed classes to uplifting music, or focus on achieving your goals in one of our discipline -based classes.
HIIT
Short sharp bursts of exercise with brief recovery periods. Exercises are repeated in ‘rounds’ and can use equipment such as kettlebells, plyo boxes and resistance bands.
Mind and Body
Mind and Body are low-impact classes that not only help build strength, flexibility and balance, but will also bring the relaxation and peace of mind. Stressful day or maybe you just need to give your body a break, these are a great way to stretch and relax.
Tai Chi
Focussed relaxation – a blissful combination. Tai Chi is a class based on deep breathing and slow, gentle movements. Try this lower-impact activity that helps you focus.
Pilates
Centre yourself. Our Pilates classes come in all shapes and sizes, but they all focus on concentration and muscle control, for a highly effective workout.
Yoga
Loosen up and let go. Our mix of Yoga classes feature a range of exercises from energetic, full-body workouts to relaxing, more traditional poses.
Dance
Dance classes are a great way to burn calories while having fun to the music. If your goal is to improve general fitness, lose weight and boost your coordination, these are definitely for you to try.

Dance Fit is an addictive cardio based dance fitness class.
