East End Pool in Byker brings fitness and swimming together just moments from Byker Metro. Our gym has free weights and cardio equipment for complete workouts, while the 25-metre pool offers lane swimming, lessons and aqua classes. There's also a teaching pool for learners and a flume that's popular with kids. After your session, relax in the sauna or steam room. Classes include group cycle, HIIT, yoga, Pilates, circuits and strength conditioning all week, with GP referral and over-50s sessions available too. We run junior fitness programmes, Aqua Splash sessions and can host birthday parties in the pool or in the soft play area. There are women-only classes and swimming times each week.
