Paul
'Swimbies lessons are an important part of a child's swimming journey.
Being a Swimbies Teacher is very rewarding, the bond between parent and child created by your guidance is a joy to watch.
From songs to games, which aid the child's confidence and development in the water, allowing them to have fun and gain valuable skills is wonderful to see.
Your interaction with the parent and child, and using and adopting your skills and knowledge, make these lessons very rewarding for me as a Swimbies Teacher.'

Brian
‘Swimbies lessons offer an exciting start to a child’s early experience in the water and the sooner a baby connects with swimming the better.
In these classes, children can start to develop fundamental movement skills like rotation and floatation and evidence shows that children who have attended parent and child classes are better prepared for the structured swimming lessons that they can join from 4yrs old.
The classes offer a shared learning experience between child and adult and an opportunity for baby and parent to bond in the water through fun and play with each other and the other parents and children in the class.’

"The Lessons are fun, progressive and structured. My daughters first swimming experience was in Swimbies ay 18 months she is now 4 years old and about to move into foundation. She has turned into a happy confident child in the water and thoroughly enjoys all her lessons.
My son absolutely loves his swimming lessons with Brian, he enjoys the whole atmosphere at Fairwater, the other teachers always say hello and making themselves known for when he potentially moves up to the next level. Brians lessons are exciting, engaging and different every week.
Paul's enthusiasm and energy makes every lesson exciting and fun for both me and my daughter."
"I think it’s important to build confidence in the water, and she’s definitely done that already in only a few short lessons. I love seeing her interact with other babies in the water and already starting to kick in the water and hold onto the edge of the pool. They pick it up so quickly!"
"I started attending the classes because I wanted Kelton to get used the water. He loves his bath time and I just thought it would be a good idea to learn from an early age how to swim. I just love watching him in the water and his smiles, especially when he goes in with his dad – it just melts my heart. Ever from his first lesson, he’s started kicking his legs when you say ‘kick’ so its been amazing to see him learning things already."
