Download the Better UK app
You can download the Better UK app for free. To install the app onto your device, you just need to open your app store and search for ‘Better UK.’ Alternatively, you can click on the button below.
If it’s your first time booking through the Better UK app, it takes a couple of minutes to set up your booking account. After that, it’s easy to make a booking on your smart phone or tablet. Once you have successfully installed the app onto your device, you can book an activity, swim session or fitness class at any of our centres.
Making an activity booking
If you are a Better member
Once you’ve set up your account through the Better UK app, it’s easy to make a booking. Watch our video and read our step-by-step instructions to find out how.
Instructions to create a booking account as a member
- Firstly, click ‘Book an Activity’ from the green toolbar at the top of your screen.
- Choose which of our leisure centres you want to visit by entering your postcode or the centre name in the search bar.
- Next, click the green ‘Log In’ button at the top right-hand side of the screen and login - make sure your account is activated (you can see how to do this below).
- Select your activity before viewing the timetable.
- Look through the available bookings and pick an activity timeslot to book, then click ‘Book’.
- Click ‘Book Now’ on your preferred time slot. To keep browsing or add more activities, click ‘Add to Basket’.
- Click the ‘Confirm Booking’ button if the activity is included in your membership. If payment is required, enter your payment details and click the green ‘Continue’ button.
- Review the Booking Terms and Conditions and click ‘I agree’.
- Once you’re ready, click ‘Checkout Now’.
- If you want to remove anything from your basket, click ‘Shopping Basket’ from the green toolbar and then click ‘Remove’ next to the activity you no longer want to book.
If you are not a Better member
If you are not already a Better member, you will need to register before making a booking. You will only need to register once. Find out how to register for an account and make a booking by watching our video and reading our step-by-step instructions below.
Instructions to create a booking account as a non-member
- Firstly, click ‘Book an Activity’ from the green toolbar at the top of your screen.
- Choose which of our leisure centres you want to visit by entering your postcode or the centre name in the search bar.
- Next, click the green ‘Log In’ button at the top right-hand side of the screen and select ‘Create Account’.
- Fill in your details and click the green ‘Create Account’ button when you’ve finished.
- Once logged in, select which activity you’re interested in booking to see activity timeslots and availability.
- Look through the activity timeslots and pick which time you want to visit.
- Click ‘Book Now’ on your preferred time slot. To keep browsing or add more activities, click ‘Add to Basket’.
- Click the ‘Confirm Booking’ button if the activity is included in your membership. If payment is required, enter your payment details and click the green ‘Continue’ button.
- Review the Booking Terms and Conditions and click ‘I agree’.
- Once you’re ready, click ‘Checkout Now’.
If you want to remove anything from your basket, click ‘Shopping Basket’ from the green toolbar and then click ‘Remove’ next to the activity you no longer want to book.
How to activate your account
When making a booking, it’s important that your account is activated. If you are not already a member, creating a new account will automatically activate your access and allow you to start making bookings. If you are already a Better member and this is your first time booking online you will need to activate your access before you can start to book activities. You will only need to do this once.
To activate your account:
- Click the green ‘Log In’ button at the top right-hand side of the screen and then click ‘Activate Account’.
- Enter your email address you joined with – you can also use your Customer ID or Membership Number, which can be found on all our emails.
- You’ll then be sent an email containing a link allowing you to reset your password. Click the link and reset your password.
- Your access is now activated. Log in with your new password to start making bookings
How to book an activity through the Better UK app
Once you’ve set up your account through the Better UK app, it’s easy to make a booking. Watch our video and read our step-by-step instructions to find out how.
Instructions to book activities
- Make sure you are logged in to the app – if you are not logged in already, it will prompt you to log in.
- Open the Better UK app and find your local centre.
- Select an activity option such as ‘Book Swimming’ to view available activities for that category.
- Choose the activity that you’d like to book.
- Select an available time slot that works for you and click ‘Book’.
- Click ‘Book Now’ on your preferred timeslot. To keep browsing or add more activities, click ‘Add to Basket’.
- To make additional bookings, click the ‘Back’ arrow at the top left of the screen to find available activities – just follow the same process and prompts to add further bookings to your basket, where activities are available.
- Click the ‘Confirm Booking’ button if the activity is included in your membership. If payment is required, enter your payment details and click the green ‘Continue’ button.
- Review the Booking Terms and Conditions and click ‘I agree’, then click the green ‘Pay now’ button.
