Kendal Leisure Centre on Burton Road has everything you need to stay active. The gym covers cardio and weight training, while the 25-metre pool and learner pool offer lane swimming, lessons and aqua classes. Unwind afterwards in the sauna or steam room. Our sports hall and indoor courts host badminton, basketball, football and pickleball, which has become a real local favourite. Classes include group cycle, body conditioning, yoga, Pilates, HIIT, circuits and dance fitness all week, with popular over-50s sessions too. There's also a dedicated group cycle studio and teaching pool for lessons. Celebrate birthdays here with party packages, and kids can join Aqua Splash sessions. We partner with NHS services, local schools and Age Friendly South Lakeland to support health and activity across the community.
