New Barnet Leisure Centre offer a wide range of fitness classes with passionate and friendly fitness instructors. With two studios and over 80 fitness classes per week, our fitness clases will not only keep you fit but also allow you to socialize with others. From Mind & Body, Cardio, Strength & Conditioning to Dance, there's something to choose from for everyone.
Group Cycle
Pedal your way fit. Cycle along with the group in one of our themed classes to uplifting music, or focus on achieving your goals in one of our disciplined based classes.
HIIT
Push yourself to the limit with 30 minutes of quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods that will keep your heart rate up & help you reach your goals. If you want fast results in a class full of like-minded people of all ages and abilities, try a HIIT class near you.
Circuit Training
Push your workout to the next level with high intensity circuit training. Circuit routines provide a rigorous, all-body workout as you tackle a sequence of physical challenges designed to get you fitter and stronger.
Dance
Zumba
Zumba is such a fun way to combine exercise with dance, you won't even realise you're working out! Take to the floor and shake it to an infectious routine of easy to follow steps and moves in a sociable party atmosphere.
Aqua Aerobics

Yoga

Pilates

Strength & Conditioning
Body Conditioning
This full body workout is achieved through high reps & non-cardio exercises using body bars, barbells, dumbbells and body weight.
Core Conditioning
These low impact classes really help to improve the body's core strength and posture. Our dedicated team of Fitness Instructors use a range of innovative equipment and body weight exercises designed to develop your core muscles.
Power Pump
Power Pump is a resistance-based strength workout that targets your whole body. These high-intensity fitness classes will have you doing a range exercises to get different muscle groups working, especially your arms and core, and strengthen your body as you go.
Combat
A high paced combat class. There is no contact in this class, but it still incorporates all the punching and kicking techniques to make an enjoyable but challenging class.
Legs, Bums and Tums
A great full body workout, targeting those challenging areas. Sculpt, tone, conditioning and build strength whilst focusing on your bums, tums and thighs. This class does exactly what is says on the tin – what more could you ask for!

Virtual Mindfulness
A relaxing, and self-focused class, experience a range of guided meditations and understand the importance of being ‘still’. Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.
