We have a variety of climbing activities to enjoy at GLL, no matter if it's your first time on the wall, or you’re an experienced climber. Whether you’d like to practice your skills at your own leisure, or develop your abilities with the help of a trained instructor, there’s something for everyone to take part in.

Clip ‘N’ Climb

Suitable for ages four and up, our Clip ‘N’ Climb sessions help your child brave new heights in a fun, safe and supervised environment. After a quick introduction from our experienced instructors, your child can enjoy scaling our 7.5m climbing panel, helping them develop their abilities and grow their confidence on the wall.

Bouldering

Bouldering is a fun and exciting sport and a great way to stay active, for climbers of all ages and experience levels. Differing from traditional rock climbing, bouldering is a form of free climbing performed on small or artificial rock walls without the use of ropes or harnesses. Easy to pick up but challenging to master, bouldering requires you to use technique, strength and patience to develop your skills.

Top-Rope Climbing

Ideal for those new to climbing, we offer top-rope climbing sessions at a number of our centres across the UK. With top-rope climbing, as you scale the wall, you are secured to a rope that runs up to a fixed anchor at the top. From there, it runs back to the ground, where a member of our team can securely control your ascent and descent.
